Join the ARB¶

The ARB is made up of people from across UCI, and we would be honored to bring you into these conversations.

Subgroups¶

Our subgroups are made up of people across the UCI community who are interested in the specific topic. They may not attend any other ARB meeting, or consider themselves ARB members. We value their input in whatever way they can provide it, and this is a great way to get started with ARB.

Monthly Meetings¶

Participating in our monthly meeting is a great way to see the breadth of ARB’s work and make your voice heard. We hear updates from the current subgroups, discuss new challenges facing OIT, and hear about major projects happening across campus. Talk to your supervisor about attending and participating.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, from 2pm to 3:20pm. Additional meetings for subgroups and follow-ups are scheduled as needed.

Meeting agendas are posted two weeks before each call. If you have a topic to add to the agenda, bring it up at any meeting to be added in the next month, or email the chairs between calls.

Division Delegates¶

Each OIT Division has two delegates, responsible both for for representing their organization at the meetings and representing ARB to their organization. These members are expected to attend the momnthly meeting, but also to take part in subgroups, gather feedback from across campus, and participate when we draft standards and guidelines.

ARB Leadership¶

The meetings are helmed by our co-chairs. These members often facilitate various subgroups as well. Our executive sponsor connects us with OIT’s leadership.
