Original text¶
While, when possible, systems should base identification off CampusID, if a system has a local text based account names for users, the local account names should be kept in sync with the user’s UCInetID.
Exceptions can be granted by the Architecture Review Board. An exception request should be submitted to the ARB with an explanation of why the UCInetIDs can not be used for their local account names.
In emergency situations where an application is being fast tracked without other review, an exception request should still be submitted to the head of OIT’s Identity and Access Management team.
